Practice Logix ePS (ePractice Support) begins with a comprehensive billing management solution that speeds up the claim cycle at a price that is competitive with exisiting in-house or traditional third-party billing. The system restores business control to the physician and Practice Logix strives to provide the highest level of customer service in the industry.

The Practice Logix ePS provides an integrated, web-based practice support service that includes:

Claims Management

With the Practice Logix application, your office no longer has to worry about outdated, tedious or misplaced paper superbills. Practice Logix eliminates the hand-off from physician to coder to data entry clerk (who re-types all of the physician's and coder's information). Practice Logix has streamlined the labor-intensive, convoluted process of claims management.

With Practice Logix, a physician can enter the superbill electronically during or after the patient visit with clean and valid codes for all diagnoses and procedures in an efficient, easy-to-use, menu-based interface. He or she can create the claim quickly and accurately during the exam without any additional data entry or staff intervention. Practice Logix then sends claims electronically to payors or prints statements for self-pay patients. In addition to electronic billing, Practice Logix’s services include full management of accounts receivables-- including receipt, posting, and reporting.

Scheduling

Managing the daily schedule is easy without the burden of worrying about a misplaced appointment book or shuffling through papers while a patient waits on the phone. The schedule allows a physician to manage each day’s activities by graphically representing each patient’s appointment and the corresponding notes. When the front desk checkes in a patient, the schedule reflects that the patient is waiting. The physician and administrative staff can view any patient's insurance, visit history, and outstanding balance information via a link to patient demographic information within the schedule.

During the exam, the schedule directs the physician through the process of generating the superbill for the visit, referring the patient to a specialist, or scheduling any follow-up appointments.

Eligibility

An icon next to the patient’s name in the schedule indicates his or her eligibility with participating health plans, ensuring current insurance information at the time of service.

Referrals

A phyisican creates patient referrals through simple drop-down lists. Practice Logix transmits each referral electronically to participating health plans for in-network specialist referrals. The complete history of all patient referrals is available at any time. Using easy-to-read rejection reasons, a physician can correct and resubmit rejected referral requests.
